H & M Grand Opening and other news

So, yesterday a few of us girls went to the city for a day of discount shopping. Hairpit organized the outing, which started at 8:40 am. Starbucks in hand we hit DSW Shoe Outlet first (you must visit the sale dungeon: up to 80% off) and then made our way through H&M, Zara, Nordroms, Club Monaco, Sephora, Macys, Gap, and of course Loehmanns and Loehmanns shoes.

As hairpit noted on the escalator at Nordstoms, we don't get excited unless the discount is at least 65% off or the price has been crossed out more than once. H&M and Zara are too new to have a sale section, but I think when they finally cultivate one those two shops will pop to the top of my favorites. Loehmanns, however, did not disappoint. Cottage-cheese viewing aside (in those community dressing rooms), it was a good time. I got a sweater for 4 dollars. Both Janice and Hairpit scored as well.

My back still hurts from all the walking.
